The Stephenville community is continuing to come together for Alfredo Rocha and his family after the tragic crash that claimed the lives of his wife, Barbara Rocha, and the couple’s 7-year-old son.

A GoFundMe organized by Fernando and Dondee Soto, with Alfredo Rocha’s authorization, has already raised more than $60,000, but those helping the family say much more support will be needed in the days ahead.

The Sotos, who have known the family for more than 20 years, said the family’s most urgent needs right now include housing, food, and funeral expenses. In addition to the heartbreaking loss of loved ones, the family also lost their home. The couple also have several other children.

Those close to the family said every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated as the family faces an unimaginable road ahead.
