Wrong-way driver after Halloween arrested on U.S. 377 at Dublin loop

DUBLIN, Texas - A teenager was arrested Early Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, after allegedly driving the wrong direction on the divided portion of U.S. Highway 377 at the Dublin loop.


Dublin Police Department officers stopped a white four-door Ford pickup truck with a grille guard after 9-1-1 calls of a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the divided highway. The driver’s speed reached up to 70 mph while headed the wrong way.

The driver, who turned 18 in September, was taken into custody by Dublin Police and booked on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving the wrong way.


Charges are allegations, and the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
