Students Rescued After Getting Trapped in Elevator at The Edge Apartments
STEPHENVILLE, Texas — On the evening of September 11, 2025, around 8:40 p.m., local students found themselves trapped in an elevator at The Edge apartments, located next to the Sonic on Washington Street.
The students quickly called for help, prompting a response from emergency crews. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and responders were able to free the students safely.
By later in the evening, the situation was cleared, and residents at the complex were reassured that everything was under control.
