Six to Seven: Stephenville Levels Up With Another State Title

ARLINGTON, Texas - The Stephenville Yellow Jackets are state champions once again after defeating Kilgore in the UIL Class 4A Division I State Championship at AT&T Stadium on Friday morning. Stephenville ISD took the field at AT&T Stadium today as the Yellow Jackets faced the Kilgore Bulldogs in the UIL Class 4A Division I State Championship. Kickoff was set for 11 a.m. inside the iconic Arlington venue, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Stephenville enters the title game undefeated following a dominant season marked by explosive offense, disciplined defense and standout performances across the roster. The Yellow Jackets secured their spot in the championship after a hard-fought playoff run and look to bring another state title back to Stephenville.
Kilgore comes into the matchup with strong momentum of its own after an impressive playoff stretch, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown between two of the state’s top programs.
Fans from both communities filled the stands as students, alumni and supporters rally behind their teams for one of the biggest games of the Texas high school football season. Going in the third quarter at AT&T Stadium where the Stephenville Yellow Jackets have taken the lead over Kilgore after scoring the first points of the half. Neither team was able to find the end zone through the first two quarters in a defensive battle, but Stephenville broke the scoreless stretch to go on top in the second half.

The Yellow Jackets have momentum as play continues, and fans on both sides are on their feet as the UIL Class 4A Division I State Championship heats up. Stephenville is bringing home the title! The Yellow Jackets defeat Kilgore 10-0 to win the UIL Class 4A Division I State Championship at AT&T Stadium.
