Same holiday spirit, new starting line

The jingling of bells and the thump-thump of running shoes are back. Run with Rudolph, the Cross Timbers Business and Professional Women’s beloved holiday 5K and 1 mile fun run, returns Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8:30 a.m. This year brings a festive change of scenery: after years of starting at the City Park, this year's race will launch from Timber Ridge Church, near the North trailhead of the Bosque River Trail.

Families, first-timers, and seasoned runners are all invited to lace up, don antlers, and follow Rudolph’s red nose down the course. Expect hot drinks, snacks, and fresh fruit at the finish, plus cheers from Rudolph himself as every participant trots through the chute.

Why your miles matter

Run with Rudolph isn’t just a merry dash; it’s a fundraiser that directly benefits neighbors across Erath County. Proceeds support Cross Timbers Business and Professional Women (CTBPW), a local nonprofit focused on uplifting women and children through education and community service. Last fiscal year, CTBPW donated $2,800 to local charities and awarded $6,000 in scholarships to Erath County high school students.

Your entry helps CTBPW to support organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Backpack Buddies, Cross Timbers Family Services, Girl Scouts, Paluxy Child Advocacy Center, Tree House Faith Lutheran Church, and the Stephenville Soccer Association.
