STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Baskin-Robbins™, the world’s largest chain of specialty ice cream shops, will celebrate the grand opening of its new Stephenville shop, located at 115 North Saint Felix Street, on Saturday, Sept. 26. Starting at 11 a.m., the new location will offer 31-scent scoops to the first 50 guests in line.*

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can also enjoy $1.31 scoops,** music from an on-site DJ, and branded giveaways from the Baskin-Robbins prize wheel. 

At noon, local franchisee David Brumfield will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the Stephenville community. Following the ceremony, Brumfield, in partnership with the Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation, will present a $1,000 check to Erath County United Way to support local individuals and families through education, financial stability, and healthy living.

The new Stephenville shop marks Brumfield’s third Baskin-Robbins location, joining his growing portfolio of shops stretching from Fort Worth to West Texas. Brumfield and his family are actively involved in day-to-day operations, focusing on strengthening their locations, building strong local teams, and delivering consistent, memorable guest experiences.

The family’s appreciation for Tarleton State University and Stephenville’s small-town Texas culture drew them to the community. With the university continuing to grow, Brumfrield saw an opportunity to bring students, families, and neighbors a fun, high-quality experience centered on ice cream and everyday celebrations.

The Baskin-Robbins location showcases a reimagined design with a fresh, modern look, creating a vibrant space where guests can celebrate the happiness ice cream brings to every moment, big or small. The 1,100-square-foot shop employs 18 crew members, seats 22 guests indoors and 30 outdoors, and is open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight.
